We are going to use the built in soapbox website feeds to notify your facebook and twitter networks each time you update your website.
That's it! Now every time you update your site, a tweet will be created, and your facebook will be updated! Now all the people in your networks will know there's something new to see, and you didn't have to do anything extra!
What you will need
- A soapbox website
- A twitter account
- A facebook account
- The twitter for facebook app (this lets twitter update your facebook status)
- A twitterfeed account
There are 2 feeds built into most soapbox templates:
http://www.yourdomain.com/feed
This feed lists your most recently created or updated web pages
http://www.yourdomain.com/plugins/blog/partials/feed.php
(copy the link from your blog page) - this feed lists your most recent blog posts
Once you have all of the above:
- Log into your twitterfeed account
- Add your 2 soapbox site feeds
