Applying for Authorize.net's Online Payment Services is a quick process. After about a 2 business day approval period, Authorize.net will provide you with the necessary information to complete the integration with Soapbox CMS.

  1. Create a new account through Authorize.net's application website.
  2. Complete the application.
  3. Upon approval, Authorize.net will send you an email with instructions as to how to access your API Login ID and your Transaction Key. These credentials will be available should you need them in future by logging into their web site. Enter those in the Preferences section of your site.
  4. By default, your account is in TEST MODE. Leave your account in this configuration until you are ready to process live transactions. This allows you time to ensure that your site is working properly with your Authorize.net merchant account.
